What we collect
- Booking information. When you follow the external Calendly link and book an introductory call, we receive your name, email address, organization, time zone, the time you chose and your answers to the booking questions.
- Business inquiries. When you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, company, topic and message you submit. Netlify processes the form submission for us. You can also contact us directly by email.
- Email correspondence. When you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any attachments. Gmail and our calendar are connected to Attio, which synchronizes email and meeting information.
- Payment information. When you pay for a session, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your name, email address, the amount paid and limited payment details (for example card type and last four digits). We do not receive or store full card numbers. If you pay by invoice, we keep the invoice and payment records.
- Engagement information. If you become a client, we receive the information you provide for the engagement, such as questionnaire answers, documents and notes from our sessions. We use Google Drive for files and Google Meet for calls. Before starting any recording or transcription with Wispr Flow Notetaker, Katerina asks every participant for consent. Wispr processes the audio and transcript in its cloud. If a participant does not consent, Katerina uses manual notes instead. An engagement agreement or NDA may add further obligations.
- Website usage. Netlify hosts the Site and processes technical request information, including IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect it. We use Plausible for aggregate site analytics. The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser also makes requests to Google's servers. Calendly is accessed on its own website; its policies apply there.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Plausible's standard analytics does not use cookies.
How we use it
- to schedule and hold introductory calls and sessions;
- to reply to your emails and requests;
- to prepare, deliver and invoice our services;
- to keep business, tax and accounting records;
- to protect the Site and our business against misuse;
- to understand aggregate use of katerinaandreeva.com through Plausible.
We do not send marketing newsletters or cold prospecting emails. We may contact existing professional connections directly. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may use generalized descriptions of a business question in generative AI tools to help structure our analysis or draft materials. Before doing so, we remove client names, company names, figures and other details that could identify the client or reveal confidential information. We do not upload session recordings, full transcripts or client documents to those tools.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the Site and services: Netlify for website hosting and contact-form submissions; Plausible for aggregate analytics; Calendly for scheduling; Attio for CRM and synchronized email/calendar information; Gmail for email; Google Drive for files; Google Meet for calls; Wispr Flow for consent-based session transcription; Stripe for payment processing; and Google Fonts for the Site's typefaces. If we use generative AI tools as described above, the provider processes the generalized description we submit.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.
How long we keep it
We keep business contacts and inquiries while relevant to a professional relationship or potential engagement. We keep client materials, notes and transcripts while needed to provide services, handle follow-up or meet contractual obligations. We keep contracts, invoices and payment records for the period required by applicable law. You may ask us to delete your information; we will remove information we no longer need, subject to legal and contractual obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop using it, by emailing kate@thebrained.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Do Not Track. The Site does not track visitors across other websites, so it does not change behavior in response to Do Not Track signals.
Children
The Site and services are for business audiences and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send confidential documents before an engagement or NDA is in place.
Changes
We may update this policy. The last-updated date at the top shows when it last changed.
